What we do and what we don't

What we offer is proof of priority: that a specific text existed at a specific moment. Every seal enters an append-only registry whose head is published signed, and anyone can audit it in full.

We do not verify whether your prediction is true, nor whether it came about, nor do we give advice of any kind. A seal certifies when you said something, nothing more. The difficulty score is an automatic estimate and not a claim about reality.

Your account

Your sealer name is public by design: it's what makes a track record mean anything. Choose accordingly. We reject names that read the same as an existing one, because being able to manufacture a visual twin of another person would drain the whole registry of value.

You are responsible for your password. We cannot recover it if you haven't given us an email, and we cannot sign into your account for you.

What you seal

You keep all rights over what you write. You grant us permission only to store it and, when you decide to reveal it, to publish it.

Revealing is irreversible. On publication, the text and its nonce enter an append-only registry and become verifiable forever. There is no way to withdraw them afterwards: doing so would break the inclusion proofs already issued to third parties, which is exactly what the product exists to prevent.

A private seal does not enter your public denominator and only you can see it, but it is still stored in our database. If you need the server to be unable to read it, use in-browser encryption when sealing.

You may not seal illegal content, content impersonating another person, or content harassing anyone. We may remove from public access a seal that breaches this. The cryptographic registry is append-only and its history is not rewritten.

Payments

The Vindication Certificate costs $29.00 per reveal, a one-time payment. The legal seller is Dodo Payments, acting as Merchant of Record: they are who charges you, who issues the invoice, who settles whatever taxes apply in your country, and who appears on your bank statement.

Applicable taxes are calculated at checkout based on your billing address and may be added to the displayed price.

Availability and usage limits

This is a young product. We do not promise uninterrupted availability and we may change or discontinue it. If we stop operating it, we will publish the registry's final signed head so that proofs already issued can still be verified without us.

There are usage caps per account and per address, so that nobody turns the service into an open-ended cost. If you exceed them, we tell you and indicate when to retry.

Liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us in the preceding twelve months. None of this limits the rights your country's law grants you as a consumer, which prevail.

Changes and contact

If we change these terms substantially, we will update the effective date. For any question, write to soporte@cassandraregistry.com.
